Bowling for…

While in Davenport, Iowa, my sister showed Janice these items she and others had made for their church bazaar.

We now own the above “bowling pins” made into something else.

We are in Mesa, AZ, trying to find out if I need to appear in court to testify against the person who broke into our condo last August. He used two of our credits cards, seemly had a good time for awhile but was tracked down, in part, by the photos taken of him purchasing items with said cards. Lots of places, it seems, now take your picture while you are in their store.

The temperature here in Mesa was 99 degrees at 9:45 am. At bit above normal according to the paper. The other difference between Tennessee and here is, we washed an item on the patio and the resulting wet spot on the floor was gone in minutes – in Tennessee it would still be there hours later!!

The condo looks good and after a cleaning sweep and a trip to the grocery store, we have settled in for a few days. Janice is getting some teeth work done the local dentist and I am going to clean the car. That is all we have scheduled for the moment. We will, I am sure, take in a movie in Scottsdale later today or tomorrow. The paper says there are two 4 star foreign films playing and another three star. We will certainly see them all!!

The mileage for the trip from Davenport to Mesa was 1636 miles.
