Ranking for Iowa!! That’s funny. The Hawks are 0-2 and have to play Texas next week. We’re hoping Purdue makes championship game of Paradise Jam so we can watch it on TV Monday night. Be OK with me if Boilermakers were playing Northern Iowa in that game. Purdue beat UNI by 5 points in first round of NCAA tournament last season.

We use to have “road rally’s” years ago in ski club. Each car had a maximum of 4 people and a minimum of two and we were given a sheet of directions to the checkpoints where we got clues to the party location. There were several checkpoints on both sides of the Mississippi and we were given the location of the “party” at the last checkpoint. Prizes were given for the winner, those with the least mileage, etc. etc. It was great fun!

Well, it’s a cliffhanger to be sure! I say she got change and went back. Doesn’t that seem surreal that .25 would be a tip! No wonder some older peeps are bad tippers! I tried to educate my students about things like that. e.g. I would always say I got a dollar in most of my graduation cards and a 5 was BIG! Then, I would temper it with filling NRJ’s VW with $2 of gas!!
